maybe like filling where the taiyaki or host may have exposed bits of it's filling; like a vent but with filling inside? It would look rad with exposed bone or goo.

(i might actually make the species have no traits for a little while, meaning you could easily just go ham with designs, until i figure out a good system for traits since i dont feel like ive got the hang of it yet lol)
