Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.
Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.
Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.
Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.
If you couldn’t tell already, this is the Pokémon Trotter! To win, you can do anything to the form, but tell me what type(s) this Trotter would be and what their favorite move would be in battle! No minimum or maximum for word count, but I’ll choose the entry I feel best suits this kiddo!
ALSO! Whoever wins gets to choose a companion Pokémon for me to draw next to them! c;

Barn Name: Anville
Gender: stallion
Height: 14.2hh
Halter Color: something metallic please!
Prompt: Anville would be a steel/ground style Pokémon! Even though he's a still a first stage Trottérmon, he's very powerful, although that power is still extremely volatile. He's got a lot of training left to do before entering any battles, but has a tenacious work ethic and loves to spar. Despite being a steel/ground type, Anville is a real softy... on the inside. It take a special person to get through his gruff exterior, but when you do he's got a warm, magma like core. Anville's favorite move to use is Meteor Mash, because it causes damage and has the chance to raise his attack at the same time! He dreams of one day taking on the gym challenge with his trainer, and being on the team of the next Trottérmon champion!

Halter Color: A reference to some type of ball (master, net, nest, etc) would be neat! I leave the type up to you. :3
Prompt: Type: Fighting/Ice. Favorite Move: False Swipe.
Why that combination? Because she cares. In a perfect world she'd never fight at all: she'd use her Ice-type powers to freeze would-be enemies in place and simply walk away. But this world is far from perfect, and sometimes there's no choice but to fight. When push comes to shove, Fighting-type moves let her do exactly as much damage as she means to, and not one iota more. Her favored move is a perfect example of this mindset, even if its typing isn't quite spot-on. If an enemy is going to flee due to low health, False Swipe gives them the perfect 'out' to do so, without the risk of potentially overshooting and causing irreparable harm.

Congrats! That card is so cool! Let me know what Pokémon you’d like to be drawn as his companion!
