You had just got done helping the duckling then continued onward on the trail past the bridge. The trail is upon a field before the forest. There are many flowers to the left and right of the trail. You dismount to pick some of the flowers. (50-100 WC Story)

While you are picking flowers, a pregnant mare grelifcent appears on the trail. (The mare at some point trots off into the forest. Do you get near her by foot then she takes off, or do you mount and she takes off? At some point she picks up speed or/and then stops as if waiting but always keeps a distance far from being able to be touched. This chase leads up to the entrance of the forest. 250-400 WC Story.)

Answer 1:
After the we cross the bridge, the trail opens up to a field with some late blooming flowers. They're really beautiful, and I decide to dismount and pick a few to bring back with me to remember the day with. I lead Chocolate with one hand, and carefully pick flowers with the other. The breeze starts to pick up a bit as I pick the bundle.

Answer 2:
An interested huff pulled my attention away from the flowers and towards Chocolate, who was staring off to her right very intently at something. I follow her gaze and see a very pregnant mare grelifcent standing on the edges of the field. She's looking at us with a seemingly lazy gaze. She's beautiful. Like dappled leaves with streaks of sunlight. I knew wild grelifcents could be found here, but i wasn't expecting to see one on my first day going trail riding. Chocolate isn't giving me any tension or caution towards the mare, either.

I make a snap decision to leave Chocolate, and try to approach the mare cautiously. After several steps she pins her ears back and backs up. I stop, and try to talk soothingly towards her, but she's having none of it. In a blink she takes off towards the trees on the other side of the field, breathing hard. She stops briefly and glances at me, as if begging me to follow her. I try to approach her again, more slowly this time. Then she takes off again breathing even harder this time.

I mount Chocolate and take off after her. I place my trust in the mare as we follow the other mare. The sounds of hooves echo strangely from the trees as we follow the pregnant mare. Even with her labored pace, she's rapidly approaching the trees. Chocolate seems to want to follow the other mare as much as I do, but I can feel the restraint in her body as she holds back from taking off and stressing the pregnant mare out more.
