You're taking a stroll around the
agency checking everything out for the event.
You notice a gate that's open, and past it is a river, sign,
bridge and path that splits..

You walk past the open gate and walk up to read the signs.
One says "Forest" & the other says "Trail Ride Sign Up."

Since you are currently about by foot,
you take right following the direction of the "Trail Ride Sign Up."

Your First Fall-O-Ween Forest Ride wrote:You've reached the bridge area. Write a 100-200 word count story; Ride from the trail ride sign up ground to the bridge.
Your Answer #1

You see a sign next to the bridge, then follow past the bridge and river. There is a family of ducklings following their mother. Your fellow companion mount has stopped and twitched his/her ear when herd peep of a duckling. The peep was from opposite direction somewhere along the river. Write a story of you finding the little duckling and bringing it back to it's family at the other side of the river past the bridge. How far past the bridge and was in in the river, by a bush or somewhere nearby the river?.. were you able to hear it or did you read into your fellow companion's body langue and trust it to bring you to the duckling. How do you transfer it while also leading or riding? 100-200 word count story.
Your Answer #2

Answer 1:
Chocolate and i leave the sign up are and head down the trail. The air is cool and crisp. I can feel the pep in every step she took. I smile, she's enjoying the ride as much as I am. I get her going into a trot as we get further down the trail, leaves crunching with every step. I take a deep breath and exhale, enjoying the experience. I can hear birds in the trees, both migratory and wintering from what I can tell. Off in the distance I can hear the slight sound of water. I'd heard there was a river running through the trail, it seemed like we'd get to it sooner than I'd expected.

Answer 2:
As we turn the bend the sound of moving water gets louder. In front of us is a bridge, and crossing the trail just past it is a mother duck with her ducklings. Many of them had already grown a large chunk of their feathers, but the fluffy down was still visible. It was an adorable sight. That's when Chocolate flicked her ears and turned her head down river. I turn my head to see what caught her attention and hear the distant desperate peeping. I dismount and carefully lead her down the river. The peeping gets both louder and more desperate as we approach. That's when I see the duckling caught in a bramble, wings flapping, and terrified. I carefully reach down and talk softly to the young bird, trying to not scare it more than it already is. I untangle the twisting dried vines and it bursts from the brambles to swim across the river, where the family is waiting realizing that one duckling was missing. The mother duck quacks loudly as the duckling gets closer and can be seen checking it over. One minor crisis averted, I think, before mounting Chocolate and continuing the ride.
