The crew of the ship Serenity are all very fun and unique, and I'm still upset that they cancelled the show after all these years. At least they made a movie and a comic series to explore the universe further!

Prompt: Named after two deep red gems that can be found growing on black and white matrixes. Cinnabar makes a deep red tint that had many uses back in the day, however it proved to be highly poisonous. There's even an old german fairytale/short novel about a small gnome called Cinnabar who keeps causing harm to those he is exposed to by taking all their credits to himself until he gets exposed by having his spell broken. The second name comes from a recent mineral discovery called Pezzottatite. It's existence has been debated for a while as it was hard to differentiate it from other similar chemical variables of a few crystals. If I am not mistaken, due to how rare it is, the karats are pretty heavily paid for.

Prompt: Named after Mina Harker who was in the novel Dracula. She was a schoolteacher and was later bitten by Dracula multiple times. She slowly transitioned into a vampire instead of immediately turning into one, even though her team she had tried to help and prevent her from turning. Mina is only cured after Dracula dies near the end of the novel. A large quantity of the book was made from fictional newspaper clippings she collected, as well.

Picked the name as the dark red, black, and cream color scheme made me think of Dracula / vampires!
