Growing up in a family who celebrates Samhain every year, Adonia actively looks forward to making a nice, big batch of Witches Brew. While the drink itself is not a family-made tradition, getting together and making it sure is!

Adonia was taught the recipe by her grandmother, and although she's since passed away, making a warm batch every year brings back happy and cozy memories. There's nothing better to her than going out and buying her favorite red wine, apple cider, assorted herbs and spices, cinnamon sticks, honey, and oranges! Coming home and setting the cider up to mull fills the room with a nostalgic aroma, and when it comes to finally adding in the honey and wine, then the orange zest, cinnamon, and spices, those memories of grandma come flooding back. Floating a few slices of orange on top adds to the festive spirit, and when it finally is ready, Adonia pours herself a cup in her favorite glass before curling up under her favorite blanket to enjoy a nice, relaxing drink!
