LET'S MAKE A LITTER!
Welcome to our little side-event game! Here you may enter to help create a litter with other people, one submission at a time. Artists may open a game at any time, so keep an eye out!
These will be hosted in Color-In Threads of this thread, so please don't post your entries here!
HOW THIS WORKS
- Artists open a game slot to create an entire new litter, inspired by your entries!
- One by one, people may enter ONE aspect of the future parents' designs. This will typically be dictated by prompts, which artists may change at their discretion (see an example below).
- Every person who enters will reserve ONE guaranteed spot to claim a parent OR kitten once the litter is made. The final claims will be SHUFFLED though, as to not penalize later entries.
- Artists decide how large litters will be, but they MUST be large enough to offer a kitten slot to EVERY participant. Should an artist make more kittens than creation-participants, they may claim one cat and give away the rest.
- Due to the uncertainty of the outcome, these litters will typically be for free - though this may also be up to artist discretion.
RULES
- One entry per person!
- Entries unlock subsequentially as they are filled. That means you may not post for the EIGHT prompt until one to seven are filled.
- Entries are first come first serve. Please don't edit your forms once posted - if you wish to try again after missing, please quote your post with the new entry.
- By entering you understand that claim results will be shuffled, and that the litter may not quite go in ways you expect them to - this is a collaborative effort, after all! Be kind in your feedback.
- Keep submissions within Pixel Cat standards - cat typical features are preferred. Any unnatural traits will render the litter unbreedable.
- Follow any other guidelines and forms specifically given by the artist threads. The below mentioned example doesn't need to be adhered by them!
EXAMPLE PROMPTS
FIRST: Left Parent Base Coat Color
SECOND: Left Parent Eye Color
THIRD: Left Parent Markings/Pelt Pattern
FOURTH: Right Parent Base Coat Color
FIFTH: Right Parent Eye Color
SIXTH: Right Parent Markings/Pelt Pattern
SEVENTH: Theme Keyword (Ex.: nautical theme, cotton candy, mushrooms, tree bark, etc. A moodboard-esque picture could also work here!)
EIGTH: Lineart Edits (Don't go overboard here. Think more in the vein of: short tails, floppy ears, short hair, longer hair, scars, etc. Anything cat-untypical will render them unbreedable!)
