Storkatten, often shortened to Storkies, are a magical breed of fantasy felines. Descended from Freya's own mythical mounts, Storkies are chock-full of magic and potential. They're quite powerful and loyal companions. While some may choose to live in colonies out in the wild, others may choose the companionship of humans. Many Storkies also possess magical abilities, though require the usage of runes to unlock them.

Storkie Name: Mirabelle

Mirabelle slowly opened her eyes as the morning sun began streaming through the forest leaves. She'd curled up to sleep under a tree late last night. Her ears twitched when she heard a fish splash in the river near by. She licked her lips thinking that could be today's breakfast. Stretching as she stood, Mira paused for moment to let the sun warm her face. She could tell today was going to be a good day. She had been traveling for many days and knew she was close to the next colony, meaning she wouldn't have to sleep under a tree again. It was going to have to be her new home after getting banned from her last one. The elders were so uptight, it was just one little party that accidentally blew up the library. Mira was already trying to find other cats to help fix it, but no, they just had to kick her yelling something about how it was the last straw.

"Stop it," Mira mumbled to herself. She didn't actually like thinking about why she was moving. How none of her friends had backed her up and tried to stand by her side. How she was the only one who got banned even though she didn't cause the explosion. It made her sad to leave her home.

"The Veil is a lovely town! You know that, Mira!" Mira spoke aloud to try and convince herself this move would be fun. As if speaking it would change her feelings. Truthfully she had visited The Veil before and always preferred her home. "You're going to make plenty of new friends who won't betray you. Plus they're going to throw way better parties!"

Shaking her head to rid herself of the negative thoughts, Mira slowly padded towards the river. She took a few refreshing sips of water before focusing her magic to try and sense where the fish was. She was going to make today a good day no matter the intrusive thoughts.

Askel the Silver Hunter works as a monster hunter. He travels the lands seeking to aid those who are being attacked by packs of dire wolves or giant rocs and the like. His skill is known far and wide and many towns clamor to get his attention as it’s said that even his presence will keep foes at bay. This is, of course, only fiction as well as an annoyance for Askel. Many of these claims are easily solved if the townsfolk just stood up for themselves even a little. Alas, not showing up to a cry for help would look bad on his reputation though, so even if it means losing sleep Askel will put his best face on for those in need.
His delicate features and slender frame usually shock a few who were expecting someone a bit more muscular or at least scarred. Some even think that Askel is a fake who is trying to ride the coattails of the “real” Askel’s success. There are those who call themselves the Silver Hunter who are fakes and tend to do a mediocre job of it, but so long as they do something Askel doesn’t mind much. It’s almost as if he is in multiple places at once!
Askel’s true strength comes not from his build but from his magic. He can use his water magic to redirect his opponent’s strength and momentum and uses that against them. From the view of an onlooker, they might think that Askel is merely dancing while the monsters are all just stumbling and flailing around him. It really is a sight to behold. Once the job is done, Askel will usually have to refuse the large amounts of reward towns try to thrust upon him. He is a simple cat and usually a couple coins, some good food, and a warm bed is all he needs before it’s time to head out the next day for another job.

This one was hard to judge, but the winner is Zentropy! A monster hunter is an unexpected but fun idea for this storkie! Their use of their power seems like a funny sight. Enjoyed it very much! Enjoy your new friend!
