Leopardspots crept through the summertime foliage. He was on the hunt for some valuable prey to feed his Clowder. Something broke his concentration as he sniffed around. He'd suddenly remembered his old humans-cat friend.

When he was a tiny kit, Leopardspots had escaped from the nursery. It was a summer similar to this one. He crawled through the underbrush, making a ruckus in the process. "Hello?" mewed a small voice. Leopardspots glanced around. "H-hi...?"

He looked up and he saw a strikingly odd tom. He was pure white with ocean blue eyes and something strange curled around his neck. It was the same color as his eyes, and it had a shiny object dangling from it. "What's that?" Leopardspots asked. "Oh, this? This is my collar. What exactly are you doing in the woods?"

"What?" He cocked his head. Isn't this cat also from the forest? He shook his head. "Do you not live here?" The white tom appeared just as puzzled as he was. "What exactly do you mean? I live over there," he pointed towards a human house. He suddenly realized.

"Oh! I live in the woods. It's a place called Aetheria's Wood. There are cats all over! Oh my gosh! I forgot to ask what your name is!" Leopardspots purred. The humans-cat chuckled. "My name is Snowflake. Yours?" he inquired. "Mine's Leopardspot. It's great to meet you."
