Sick of the same old prey over and over? Then we have the cat for you: Owari! Owari is solely responsible for concocting rare and delicious dishes to share amongst the clowder. His preference of cooking is strange to most of the cats, who to be honest, who choose raw on top of coal burnt items. As much as he tries to enhance the taste buds of his family, not everyone agrees with these methods. No matter! He still deserves and does gain the support of a few members who live more on the wild side.

He would tell you that his favorite part of cooking is crushing herbs "borrowed" from the healer to spice up whatever was fresh that day. His secret is to get the kittens of the clan to grab the special ingredients, but don't tell anyone. Nevertheless even with a sub-par chef skills he hopes to soon win the hearts of all the clan and one day develop his own parchment recipes for others to try. Consequently, this wouldn't be for a while since he continues to burn the food.

In my clowder the roles are more of house-pets than feral. This particularly kitty is the clown! They like to try to do physical feats of impress, only to fall short just barely. They don't have the best sense of direction so unlike most other cats, they often fail to reorient in the air to land on their feat. They're often caught after a failed attempt after it's already happened, rolling over onto their paws and looking wide eyed into space stunned and recovering from the disorientation before zooming off in a random direction, mortified.

Of course, this ambition is quite endearing to the other kitties and their owners~!

Smaller than most of the other clowder cats, but quick and nimble on their feet, Jersey tends to range ahead of the rest of the group. Their job involves ensuring the clowder's network of dens have not become occupied by other cats, as well as doing their best to predict which den the migrating herds will be closest to at any given point. If the herds move unexpectedly, Jersey will search for new den locations along with the other scouts!

Powder-Keg Jim used to be a cannon-loader for his old swally-wag band until he got on the back-end of a cannon blast. Says the soot blew the fur clean off his face, which is why he's now called Powder-Keg Jim. Jim here now serves as Captain Goldmarsh's quartermaster, the lead navigator of the Goldmarsh Crew. He hopes that with his fancy-dancy position at the ship's helm beside his captain, he won't lose the rest of his fur.
