He saw her wicked soul, and in return granted both her and the town's wishes. He gave her the form of wings across her shoulders. He gave her feathers, growing upon that form. And yet these were not wings, nor were they white. She frantically plucked away at the growth, horrified by their appearance, and yet more sprouted all around her body, until ashamed she ran into the woods, never to be seen again.
