LBC #0224

Postby certified » Thu Apr 07, 2022 10:31 am

The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in a height of 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses, like most do. Since they are always separated, they often wonder far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, and many problems have arose, therefore creating the LBC Organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horse's while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out as many are posted for rehoming daily.

Describe what his favorite color is without saying the color.

Owner: Taxidea
Show Name: Σ! When Flowers Bloom
Barn Name: Vor
Height: 14.2hh
Halter: Daffodil
Prompt: Vor's favorite day is when he wakes up and sees all of the spring daffodils in bloom. Their vibrant shade instantly makes him nostalgic for his foal years when his mother would play peek-a-boo with him in the tall shoots. His dam would lie down, her body obvious above the blossoms, and have him join her on the ground, the two of them facing each other but a few feet apart. Then, she'd lower her head, and he'd follow suit until he could see nothing but the thick stems and the silhouettes of the flowers above him. He would wait with excited anticipation until his dam would thrust her neck forward, her face bursting through the flowers to touch his nose with hers. No matter how old he got, Vor would always cherish the image of his dam's face spotted with bright petals and the feeling of her soft nose touching his.

Show Name: OHS Smucker's Grape Jelly
    Barn Name: Raisin
    Height: 15.1hh
    Halter: Wisteria
Prompt: Raisin's favorite color is the color of imagination, mystery, royalty, and spirituality. It is fragrant wild grapes growing in the heat of summer down by a little creek, wafting their promise of a delicious reward for an intrepid adventurer. It's bright flowers waving in the sunshine. Canterbury bells, begonias, tulips, and geraniums all nod their heads in the gentle breeze. It's tart beets that brighten up a spinach salad, or sweet fig jam baked with brie. It's spongey ube roll cake with passion fruit drizzle, delicious and colorful. Raisin's favorite color doesn't show up often in nature, but then it does he always pauses for an extra moment to marvel at its beauty and elegance.
