show: the judger of the dead weighed the hearts of the deceased on a scale against a heavenly feather and judged them. if the heart was lighter than the feather, they would be considered pure and sent off with Osiris. if the heart was heavier, the meat and the soul attached to it would be fed to the goddess ammit

kennel: Egyptian goddess/demoness in the underworld. she had the head of a crocodile, the front legs of a lion and back half of a hippopotamus/hipp. I chose these names for this collie because the combination of black and white reminded me of the way ammit judges ancient Egyptians agains a feather of ma'at and decides, essentially, if they were good or bad or pure and impure in their life.
