The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in a height of 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses, like most do. Since they are always separated, they often wonder far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, and many problems have arose, therefore creating the LBC Organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horse's while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out as many are posted for rehoming daily.

Show Name: Polar North's Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Barn Name: Crunch
Gender: Male
Height: (range from 13-16hh) 15.2hh
Halter: Peachy orange
Prompt: Crunch despises trailers, it is an entire ordeal to get him inside one. He usually sees it and turns the other way to make a run for it, having once somehow cleared the fence to the pastures and nearly ran into town from the beach to escape. His handler Allison, tried luring him with treats only to have Crunch snatch the sweet from her hand and break away, running to hide among the donkeys and mules, when he was caught, Allison tried gently nudging him into the trailer which only led to Crunch becoming stiff, as though he had been turned to stone. If, by chance, they manage to get him inside somehow, he kicks and paws at the door and stomps his hooves for the entire ride until he arrives at his destination, and more often than not he requires a period of rest due to how much energy he spent running and trying to fight the trailer, so due to this, Crunch stays on the ranch as much as possible and they try not to transport him unless absolutely necessary. The stallion's health and safety comes first to the Polar North team as well as Allison, and it simply isn't worth it to them to stress Crunch out twice in one day for something like a show or competition. While Crunch may resent trailers and put on a tantrum-like display of refusal, the handlers all love hin very dearly and he is otherwise a very cooperative, calm and gentle mannered horse.
