In short, what does Astral Magic cover?
As the Paragon goes on to state, Astral Magic deals with the magic of the stars. Astrology, Astronomy, and divination through those avenues are included in the domains of Astral Magic.
Astral Magic Storkatten will spend a lifetime studying star charts and plotting out new constellations in the night sky. They may use their knowledge of the starry night sky to determine future events, or better understand past events. They may also chart the movement of the planets, allowing for a better understanding of the forces at play.

The core trait of an Astral Magic Storkie is the following:

• Understanding the world around you through studying the stars, or through using the magic of said stars.

Additionally, cats pursuing Astral Magic should know how to read and write Arcana, the common written language of Storkatten. Many, but not all, Astral students are intellectuals.

Through these merits, Astral Magic Storkatten cover even more ground in terms of what they do, including...

• Testing a couple's compatibility based on their star charts.
• Interpreting the best path in life a Storkie can take based on their star chart.
• Manipulation of stardust, which is star magic incarnate, to create bolts of magic.
• Track the movement of the planets and understand their sway they have on the Storkies on the ground.
• Using stardust to heal and aid others, or use it to manipulate items through telekinesis.
• Create new constellations and dictate how those constellations affect others [ at Master level ]
  In simpler terms, astrology and astronomy.

Astral Magic is a specialized magic; it does a handful of things and it does them well, as opposed to the jack of all trades Arcane Magic.

Astral Magic Leveling Guide

Novice: Default Level
As a Novice Astral Magician, you are still learning the meanings of the stars. You cannot quite grasp star charts, and if you do get them it takes you several days to finally get an accurate one. Your manipulation of stardust is weak at best, but you're getting better every day. Star charts in general are hard for you to interpret, and you usually need guidance.

Advanced: Unlocked at 60 MP
As an Advanced Astral Magician, you're starting to get the hang of your craft. Star charts are a bit easier for you to read and track, and you're no longer requiring as much assistance with it. You're able to solidly conjure up stardust, though controlling it is still a struggle. With the help of books, you're able to interpret star charts and your understanding of astronomy and astrology is getting better.
You're doing well, continue to strive for excellence!


Adept: Unlocked at 120 MP
After many long moons of study, you've finally reached Adept Astral Magic. As an Adept Magician in the Astral Arts, you're really feeling comfortable with your craft. Star charts are a breeze for you to read and track, and you're able to independently read and create them. Stardust is quite easy for you to conjure and control, though you always have room for improvement. You're beginning to see patterns in the stars in the form of constellations and understand how they affect the world below.
As a leveling reward, you may claim a Gift or Accessory from the Astral Paragon.


Master: Unlocked at 180 MP
At Master, the amount of Astral Knowledge you have is massive. You understand the stars on an innate level, and may not even need star charts to interpret some things. Stardust may be utilized extensively for both weaponry and convenience, and it's never an issue in terms of how much you can conjure. Your guidance through understandings of star charts and fate mean you can truly give the best advice to any Storkie anywhere who might need it.
