A cat's eyes do not have visible sclera, and though this is a detail often stylized, giving animals human-like eyes, Return's lineart is meant to be colored realistically, including the eyes. The large circle in the lineart is meant to be the cat's pupil, and should be colored very dark, if not black, to reflect this.
Additionally, while cats eye color depends on their genetics. Generally, cats without points have a wide range of different eye colors, and it's difficult to pinpoint exactly how cat's eye colors are determined. Colorpoint cats have more strict eye colors, with sepia cats having gold to green eyes, mink cats having teal to blue eyes, and colorpoint cats having blue eyes. Dominant white cats with blue eyes have a higher chance of being deaf, and can have heterochromia. Blue-eyed albino cats will always have light, blue-violet eyes with reddish pupils.
