name: Castile
gender: Male
prompt:
Castile doesn't really celebrate with many other goobs, he prefers to celebrate on his own... or well it's not that he prefers it; he's just used to it, he normally prepares a larger amount of food than he could actually eat on his own incase anygoob stopped by.
He thoroughly enjoys making and eating sticky rice balls, dumplings, spring rolls, noodles with some steamed fish, and nian gao
extra: Castile likes to share the food he cooks, don't be afraid to stop by and share a bite with him! He's very hospitable and a gentleman (gentlegoob)

Username: GriffName: KaiGender: MalePrompt:Kai's family is admittedly not from the eastern areas and as such their festivities and cultures are distinctly western. But their favorite traditions all center around New Year's Eve. It is the one day every year where the family gets together and buys the items needed to make a pizza! From dough to meats to cheese, they get whatever they would like for the pizza and start prepping all of the ingredients together. It is a time to share stories, hopes and wishes for the new year, as well as tease each other as only loving families can!
Its not a fancy pizza by any means. They take the dough and stretch it onto a sheet pan, place the sauce, cheese, then meat. But it is his FAVORITE pizza by far since it comes only once a year and tastes of tradition and love. As everyone eats together, they put on a few movies and drink some sparkling grape juice. No wine, since everyone is to join in! The cheesier the movies? The better! Finally they all watch the ball drop together, cheer for the new year, and watch any fireworks they can find before falling asleep in various ways.
Just don't ask him about the new years DAY foods. He still cant stand sauerkraut. BLECK. Extra:

Username: annaebellName: ZoraGender: MalePrompt: It's not a "tradition" by the typical standard. It's not something that involves a lot of people but it is something done every year. Zora loves to sit down and make tons and tons of Gyoza leading up to new years day every year. He typically does so alone but occasionally his friends and family will join in and help make some too. Though, theirs are never as rounded and as neatly made as Zora's are. He will always be the king when it comes to making Gyoza.
Zora's favourite part of all of it has to be, hands down, the eating part. There is absolutely nothing better than working hard and then getting to sit down and enjoy that hard work! Even more so when it comes to delicious food. He celebrates new years by eating as many Gyoza dumplings as he can before he feels like another one may make him pop like a balloon! He could eat his own body weight in them if he really put his mind to it.
Any that are left over get shared between his friends and family since at that point he's sick of them until he has them again next year. His loved ones always excitedly anticipate him and his Gyoza gifts. There isn't a goob in the world that doesn't enjoy receiving them. For goobs close to Zora, the day after new years is always the most exciting of all.
Zora's hard work always pays off nicely, he thinks. He can't imagine not making his favourite new years food.
(260 words)
Extra: Though Zora can be a bit of a glutton sometimes, he's always happy to share what he has leftover with friends and family. His sharing extends beyond his new years food too. If he's got more than he can handle of anything he shares it with those he loves and even those who can use it more than he can. His motto in life is that if anything is good enough for him then its worth sharing with others so they can enjoy it too.
Zora is the happiest when he's making others happy too :)

name: Aquarius
gender: Nonbinary
prompt: Aquarius has a tradition with their friends that every New Years when it rolls over into the new year they all crack open a fortune cookie, usually one of the homemade ones from the neighbors next door to Aquarius. They then read their fortunes out loud and whatever the fortune says is what will become true for the new year. Even if they don't really believe in the truth of the fortunes like they used to as a kid, they still love this tradition. It's even better when the cookies are chocolate.
