She does this because her older sister, who was kicked out, thought it'd be funny to teach her younger sister how to intrigue others. Birch, not knowing her right from wrong, learns from her sister's tricky ways. This is why Birch is such a thorn in the paw.

Prompt: It's true, Skyblossom can be a pain in the rear, and she often is considered the sharp-tongued, moody warrior of the Clan. There's a reason though, a meaningful one. The loss of someone you love, someone you care so deeply for, effects everybody differently.

''I'm sorry. She's gone.''

A wave of feelings swept over her. Fury, guilt, absolute devastation, as she heard those words and gazed down at her limp sister.

Those words would haunt Skyblossom for the remainder of her life.
First, her mother passed. Now her younger sister, shortly after. Her only remaining family member was her sister, Sunfern, whom she was incredibly close to. Until the day she was ripped away from her.

From that day forward, she vowed to never feel. Emotions, feelings; mourning- were all things that had brought her down, to rock bottom, and held her with its unforgiving grasp, for such a long period of time. Emotions were a burden, and Skyblossom decided to completely push them down and bury them inside. She knew her sister and mother wouldn't have wanted her to treat herself like this, after all, it wasn't her fault. What use would it be to completely disregard the clan around her? Her welfare? Her clanmate's welfare? That wouldn't do, no, not at all.

For this reason, with the losses she took so hard, and her newfound lack of emotion, she is considered rude and unenjoyable to be around. She just needs someone to take the time to get to know her though, she would warm up eventually...

Prompt: Pigeon was the runt of her litter- she's been the underdog since birth, so she's taken it upon herself to prove that she's capable of anything and everything. Pigeon tends to be a pretty agreeable cat most of the time, but the moment she's faced with any kind of scrutiny, she will immediately lose her cool and lash out.

Why should I be kind to them when they never showed even the smallest hint of kindness for me?
I was left with nothing. My family was gone. I had no clowder. I was hungry and cold. I was just a kit, young and helpless.
The fellow felines I came across just left me there and turned up their noses to pretend they never saw me. They didn't want the responsibility of trying to help me and then keep me alive. Some even chased me off, hissing and scratching at my heals to make sure that I never returned to try and get help.
The humans I ran into often chased me off as well. I just wanted food and they often cooked some over a fire that smelled so good. Just a small bit... but no. Even if they couldn't eat it all they didn't want to give it to no mangy starving cat.

Lyssa sniffles.

So why shouldn't I lash out?! All anyone has ever done is either ignore me or lash out at me for no reason! At least I have a reason. No one can be trusted and I wouldn't be in my right mind to let any of them get close to me. They'll just chase me off like everyone else. They'll just abandon me like everyone else!
So get the hell away from me! Stop telling me that I can trust you!

Lyssa hisses at the cat in front of her, eyes watering as she held back tears.
This did not deter the feline with the pure white pelt. He almost seemed to examine her with his blue eyes, his red pupils standing out against the blue iris. Despite the anger of the feline before him he was calm and patient.

You'll never find the good if you only focus on the evil.

And with your way of thinking I'd run into the same danger over and over again until it killed me.

Well, our home is always open to you, even if you're constantly snappy. You still deserve a home and family... By the way, my name is Wyn. Feel free to ask for me when you stop by.

Wyn didn't even grace her outburst with a response as he seemed to give her a smile before he returned to his task of trekking back to his clowder. Both felines were left feeling sad after their encounter with one another. One whose pain was dug up from the dark corner she tried to shove it in, and the other leaving the hurting feline behind without knowing if he could have helped more.

Prompt:
Cinder is an anxious cat, and she allows it to really eat at her often. She doesn't cope with
her feelings well and it causes her to lash out to others, her constant worrying can also be
an annoyance for others around her- she's extremely paranoid and a worrywart about almost
anything and everything you can put your worry into, even something that is so small and silly.

Others don't always understand this and it frustrates Cinder even more, wishing that at least
someone would understand and be compassionate with her rather then be annoyed and rude.
She lashes out at those who brush her off, especially if she's experiencing higher feelings of
stress that day. She always feels bad afterward, and tries her best to apologize but it doesn't
always pay off too well for her.

She isn't exactly sure either where all this anxiety and worrying and paranoid behavior has
stemmed from- perhaps it was her worrying mother? Or perhaps the fact the her siblings
passed away from a young age, which made her mother put a lot of worry and anxiety onto
her. She was mostly blind to the fact that this was probably what caused most of her issues
now, she tries her best to not worry much but she gets worked up easily, and lashes out at
her most stressful and panicked moments despite wishing she didn't.
