Favorite winter holiday tradition: Growing up, Christmas Eve was my family's special day. During the day, we would bake cookies and cinnamon rolls to snack on, and the house would smell amazing while we were also frantically wrapping any last minute gifts. In the evening my family would prep a large pot of chicken noodle soup before going to a Christmas Eve service. Once we got back home, we would have our soup before gathering around the tree and opening our presents. I have many fond memories of Christmas Eve, but sadly, my siblings and I have all grown up and moved away making this a tradition of the past.

Favorite winter holiday tradition: for Christmas we would have a big breakfast, which was then followed up with opening the Christmas presents. We than just relax and chill until later in the night where we have a big dinner with the night ending with a small bonfire out the back.

Favorite winter holiday tradition: The holiday period falls in the summer for me, so instead of snowball fights, we have water balloon fights, and instead of sledding, we play on a slip n slide. My family came up with these traditions for my little cousins who grew up having white Christmases, so they'd still get to do a version of their favorite activities. I think it's very cute, and hopefully we'll continue these traditions as they've only been going on for the past three years.

Favorite winter holiday tradition: Every year I sit in front of the tree with my dogs and take each ornament off the tree one every minute! It takes a while but it shows that hard work and dedication can help me, which I find myself needing that reminder often. This year I'm not going to be able to due to me having to travel for work, but I'll be on a facetime with my dogs, they're the light of my life!
