First Love: Cashmere's first love is not another dog or some animal or person. Instead, when Cashmere was two months old, she saw a dog running an agility course. To her, it looked like they were flying. Cashmere fell in love right then and there. She wanted to be able to soar through the air and gracefully weave through the poles. Cashmere loves to train on the courses, loves her ability to fly, and she doesn't think this love will ever weaken.

There were many friends made on her first day of puppy obedience. Most of them were fun and all that, but the little black outcast who hid in his owners shadow was special. She had bounced over to him and licked his face. “Wanna be friends?!” - He was shy, and she was outgoing; and that was that. The “opposites” pair were inseparable and she would often protect him against the bigger dogs bullying. As they grew older they went from best friends to crushes, and eventually confessed their feelings for eachother.

First Love:Kalliope is the epitome of Diva. She has but one love- aside from of course her absolute favorite chew toy- Herself. She was lonely as a pup- and a troublemaker to boot. Her siblings were adopted out early, and none seemed to care for her or her pelts odd coloring. That didn't stop her from being a class A Diva- she commands and demands respect and attention. She first saw herself passing an old window pane in the barns- her owner had been replacing the old glass. She'd been prancing about with a hay straw, and stopped short at her reflection. Her first true playmate! The cattle and horses were too big and annoyed by her, and the ole barn cat was too high up- but this fluffy bundle of energy was just her size! She didnt mind she was stuck in the glass rectangle- she still would play and bark and snap at the other pup. As she aged she recognized it was truly her reflection- but that is her first ,truest love. She seems pretty fond of Phelan now, too.

First Love: His first love was Gypsy, a swift little dog that enjoyed darting in and out of the shadows, playing pranks on him. They first met one night when he was out for a stroll in the city, hanging out on the outskirts of a park. She came by chasing after fireflies, and he couldn't resist jumping in and joining her. She can be a bit neurotic and sometimes snaps at him or dashes away, but he patiently and lovingly pursues her every step of the way.

Vida, being a particularly reserved collie, was known for her standoffish nature. Her attitude towards fellow collies and humans alike seemed endlessly indifferent. She was not malicious by any means, and never took the opportunity to benefit at another’s misfortune, but seemed to struggle with going unnoticed. Her striking markings drew her attention wherever she may visit and she absolutely despised this as her appearance was difficult to alter or hide, especially considering it was something her handler was especially fond of.

At her weekly training sessions, she was often training without the company of other collies, and she considered the training compound a place that she could show her excitement outwardly without attracting an abundance of unwanted attention. She excelled in agility and her passion showed as she seemed to glide effortlessly over jumps and between weaves. This was one of the few times she’d bark wildly, and her enthusiasm earned her a plethora of ribbons, her name boasting a considerable number of both prefixes and suffixes.
In her feverish excitement one session, she effortlessly cleared a jump as always, but panicked as her paw slid under as while landing. Her leg twisted at an unsightly angle and she fell onto her chest. A single yelp escaped her and her handler rushed her with such speed to the veterinarian that the swelling had only just begun to become significant.

Weeks later her leg was nearly back to normal after the twist. She was allowed to roam the yard and practice lightly, but nowhere near the intensity that she was so used to. For the first time in weeks her handler brought her back to the compound and her excitement was unrivaled. Much to her dismay however, there was a kennel waiting for her on the sidelines and a spotty young collie waiting in the middle of the obstacles. She watched as her handler coached the young collie through the course. Jealousy filled as she watched her handler shift her focus for the first time ever, away from her. The spotty collie calmly approached her kennel and she sat unmoving as he sat himself near her. He smelled faintly of chicken and mud, but had manners that surpassed that of ranch dogs she had previously interacted with. Her suspicions eased, much to her surprise, and she felt comfortable. His attention was not solely focused on her and she appreciated his small occasional glances. She inched her nose towards him to get a better idea of him, but is head turned and he quickly snuck a small lick between her eyes.

Somehow, she found herself growing more fond of the spotty collie with each passing day, his modest affection made her feel noticed in a way she wasn't familiar with, but was strangely agreeable. Soon enough she found herself eager to be near him, to train with him. She felt as comfortable with him as she did by herself months ago in the arena. She only wondered if her love for him would end as tragically as her love for her sport did.

First Love: Pasi's first love was unconventional, to say the least. She had no intention of liking anyone, but somehow she found herself watching Hypnos with her eyes when they were running loose in the dog park, more for his lack of running around and choosing instead to nap in the sun.
It was only a matter of time before she struck up the courage to bask next to him, and he gladly welcomed her company.
Though not a romantic love by any means, her bond with him was one that shone brighter than any she had before, and she relished in it.
