Best Friend: His best friend is a Ferox Welsh Pony named Giver. Swing is a bit of a pushover in his herd and he's on the very bottom rung of the hierarchy, by no means a lead male. The leads in his herd are always running him away from the water trough, hay feeders, and from gates when it's time to come in or go out, and I think he was quite lonely and sad before he was paired up with Giver. Now, even though they're still last to come in and are still pushed away from the hay pens and everything else if the leaders of the herd are there, at least they have each other. They're so cute to observe together in their pasture, they stick to one another like conjoined twins. Giver's role here at the camp is that he's a therapy horse for people, but we never really expected him to be a therapy horse for other equines!
