A discord! Having a place for the community to chat amongst themselves can really help immerse users into the species. it also allows for expansion in terms of custom orders for money, and even the possibility of being able to run “races” between Kietta’s for prizes.
I’ve got tons of ideas for this species and i’d love to be a part of bringing it back!

Suggestions For The Species?: I'd love to see these guys revamped with new/updated lineart, as well as some ARPG elements like detailed racing stats! My ultimate dream would be to see them with a genetics system that allows for the diverse spread of bird-like designs we've seen as well as some new ones. Sub-species of Kietta would also be interesting! Perhaps some that are based on different kinds of birds, such as a kingfisher, secretarybird, vulture or corvid? A winged subspecies or mutation would also catch attention, I feel.
I am also going to echo the suggestion of a discord chat! Would love to have somewhere to casually chat about the species.

Small edit: I have some basic ideas for how a genetics system for Kiettas might be structured, and would 100% be willing to create rollers for the species, both for randomly generated individuals and for breeding Kiettas together! Just wanted to include that if you wanted to include genetics, I would absolutely be willing to use my experience with genetics-based species to help you out, should you want me to.

Edit 2 (electric boogaloo): I also think that introducing a group ARPG mechanic (where users work on developing their flock of Kiettas together, along with racing games and individual prompts/quests) would be cool!

Congrats, Flame is all yours! I really appreciate all your ideas. I'm working on some other things at the moment so while we will definitely be reopening Kiettas this year, it may be a bit further down the line. When that time comes I'll be needing to hire a planning coordinator for the species though, so I'll be sure to get in contact c;
