Dancer seems very proud to be the first member of Athens Mountain Den. She knows that her owner was waiting for the perfect Tibetan Spitz to adopt, and her owner picked Dancer! This makes Dancer very happy and proud. However, Dancer is secretly nervous. As the first member of Athens, Dancer has pressure to perform well in competition. Dancer tries to use her nerves as a way to fuel her determination and drive, but sometimes her nerves make her stumble.

I walked into the kennels, all the poor dog faces pleading as if asking for a home they can grow and develop in, not to mention feel safe in. My first dog... which one should I choose though? My sled team needs to be good but- A whine broke through the others and I turned to see the face of a special little puppy. One dark ear was folded and the other was shooting straight up as he tilted his head and play bowed within the small kennel. I turned to the guide that had come with me, "I want this one." I said in determination.

I was lifted up by a short human in dark blue clothes and black pants. I licked her face and barked happily, my way of telling her how happy I was for her to choose me out of all the amazing dogs already here in the kennels. It was my lucky day! We hopped into the car and she took me to her den. Several days later we started training with harnesses and cool, big brown things!
