Nainoa is most like a dog. The lions don't usually see dogs other than African Wild Dogs, but occasionally the villages not far from the territory will have dogs with them. They're a loud creature, but from what the lions have seen they're extremely loyal to the humans. Upon closer inspection, Nainoa noticed that the dogs help hunt and track for the humans, but they also play with the human children.

Although he doesn't usually admit it, he has a soft spot for cubs and always checks up on them even though he's not a caregiver. He wouldn't want to be a caregiver and have that rank 24/7, but he thinks of it as giving a break to the real caregivers. Nainoa is also extremely loyal to the Divine Pride and Mahealani the queen. He would do anything for the sake of the other lions.

Symbolism: Paska has often been described as the big "papa bear" of the pride. He likes to protect and care for others, much like a bear would for it's own. He also loves to give big, teddy-bear cuddles to others. Since he is larger in size, other lions (or smaller creatures) can be intimidated by him and may even liken his size to the big fuzzy creature. On his journeys as a scout, he has learnt to catch fish from streams as a snack and they are now his favourite food. While others may judge him for it, he thinks it's a pretty resourceful way of gathering more food for the pride. Because of all of these things, his pride mates like to give him the nickname of "Paska bear", something he finds rather cute and endearing.
