so meir kept doing it. he went to all of the therapy dog classes and learned everything he could about making people happy. to be honest, it seemed as though just his presence was enough to cheer up most people. and meir found that he really enjoyed this new line of work (he still herded on the side, of course). these days he's a familiar face in the wards of his local hospital.
