Lampyri-Fae

Lampyri-Fae are a bioluminescent breed of Fae, who are more kin to the Lampyridae (Fireflies) than traditional fae. Just like the traditional fae, Lampyri-Faes enjoy milk, honey and sugary treats. Lampyri-Fae are commonly mistaken as fireflies, Christmas lights, and light orbs often caught on camera. Sometimes you'll see them hitching a ride on the taillights of cars at night, or hiding in your holiday decorations year round. Just like the traditional fae, Lampyri-Fae are fairly small, ranging from 3-6 inches tall. They're easily befriended (With the right treats of course!) however, their idea of friendship mostly consists of hiding your car keys and shiny jewelry.

I imagine that I would find this fae in a library in the fantasy section. All the colors of the fae would be from the colorful places in the books that people have imagined they look like. They would probably have picked their name from one of the mythology books after much, much deliberation over which one to choose.

I was walking by a nice sakura tree. I was in a trip to japan to meet my cousins there. I decided to look at the pond nearby the sakura tree when it started to rain. I went to the sakura tree to hide from the rain. Soon, when the rain ended, I looked at the sky to see a beautiful rainbow. And then i saw Niji. Niji came over to me asking if i was alright. I was alright and Niji invited me over to his place. We had a nice talk and had a sleep over. We soon became good friends.

I was camping under an ancient cherry blossom, sleeping under countless pink petals.
I first saw them in a dream. I woke up and they were flying there before me- their shimmering, colorful wings and hair glowing in the early morning light.
