The blizzard was on its way. As the sun was threatening to dip behind the horizon and turn the evening to night, someone shouts out, something about hearing a horse walking. The group quickly follows the sound, unsure what could be making the noise, but another member shouts about spotting a cave.

Sure enough, when the cave is inspected, several pairs of equine eyes gaze hopefully outwards, delighted to have finally been found.

This is a Route Three horse! Remember you must first enter in the Route Three prompt before you enter for any horses listed as route three. You may only win two horses per route, excluding the horses listed as "Special," of which you may only win one total.

The rescue party were not surprised at all by Dreamer's happiness in being found and willingness to leave the cave she was discovered in since she was of course, a highly pampered mare. Dreamer was more than ready for her pampered lifestyle once more, she practically came racing out of the cave with her rescuers!

Unlike almost all the other horses, Selene didn't want to be found. She missed her home and she missed the familiar pasture she had grown up in. She wanted to missed, skipped over by those prying eyes, to be able to stay out in the forest. She would find her own way back to Hawthorn and they would have to take her back in then. For she would walk all that way to get back to her home, that would show them that she belonged there. Selene was determined. She would get back home.

What she didn't count on was her light coat giving her away while she was hiding back in the shadows. She whinnied and called to the other horses unhappily, but still let herself be caught, not wanting to cause harm to any horses or riders. If she did, Hawthorn definitely wouldn't take her back. She would have to settle for now, but she wasn't happy about it, focusing a glare so fierce it could hurt on anybody that got too close to her. Selene wasn't grateful for the rescue, she would have rather stayed out in the wild. Even with the possibility of getting hurt. (199 words)

xxxxophelia was very grateful to be found, although more for the sake of her companions than herself. since she was a filly, ophelia had always been the considerate, compassionate mare. her field of work, therapy, suited her well. she always put the needs of others before herself and this situation was no different. once the group got settled into the cave, she went around to check on everyone to make sure they were all accounted for and alright. she stayed to talk to anyone who was still a little nervous in order to calm them all down. it was a relief when the search party came across the cave. ophelia was about to pass out from exhaustion but still refused to worry about herself and instead stressed over the safety of the rest of their little herd. she was glad to be on her way home where she could make sure everyone was safe and sound.
