    Prompt:
“Quiet pups!” He growled, continuing when they put their attention on him.
“Now where was I... so, the bones. I buried them under this tall statue of an angel. There were some words, but I don’t know what it said. Too eroded, it was very old, pups. I kept them there for a few days, didn’t want anyone stealing them over Halloween. When I went back, my marker was still there, but when I dug for them they were just gone!”
Now the pups around him were taken by surprise, and after quieting again he continued. “No footprints around it, I couldn’t smell anyone else... it was as if a ghost had just taken off with them!”

Name: Whisp
Gender: Male
Prompt: Whisp's tail seemed to dance in the moonlight, he moved with grace as he leapt from tombstone to tombstone. This beautiful grey pup seemed to have boundless energy as he strode around the dark treeline up the back of the graveyard a white mist could be seen dancing through the tree line a little ways in, now Whisp had always been warned to not follow strange mist in the graveyard but this pup was bored of playing alone and took off through the forest. The mist always seemed to be at least 4 trees ahead and Whisp had lost track of how many turns and twists he'd done. All of a sudden the trees stopped and Whisp stepped out into a clearing, there was a huge statue (which might have been a person at some point, there was no way to be sure as it was mostly rubble now) standing in the middle of the clearing. The white mist seemed to be surrounding it so Whisp took a few steps closer and was immediately engulfed by darkness. "Please! Let me go!" he cried, thought his words seemed to make no sound. The weight of the darkness was slowly crushing him and he felt himself lose consciousness. He lifted his head and looked around, no darkness but no white mist either. He stood up still shaken by what happened. Whisp walked slowly home, trying to figure out what happened. He didn't see the white mist follow him.

Name: Polar North's Specters In The Cemetery // Poe
Gender: Male
Prompt: Poe crept through the cemetery, the rain pounding down on the ground around him, it was cold and the wind didn't help any as it whipped his damp fur around in the cold breeze. His paws sank down into the mud, going numb from the cold as he trudged through the wet dirt, thicker than paste. He found a building with an open door, it looked warm inside, he crept in and looked around, but there was no one there. "This seems like a safe place to sleep," he thought to himself, no one would bother him here. Poe curled up into a ball and shivered, the rain having no mercy on a stray pup like himself. He knew that something strange was going on outside of the cemetery, there were cars parked along the road and lots of people walking about in weird clothes, lots of 'trick or treat''s going around. He thought it would be best to avoid the commotion and stay inside this cozy place until the morning came. He was stirred from sleep when he heard a loud thud, looking up from his corner he saw something- A Tall, dark figure shuffling around in the moonlight, the sun hadn't even come up yet- Could it be? A Ghost?! The figure came closer and closer, bending down to get a good look at Poe. "Hey there, buddy, you must be freezing. I've got you," the voice lulled, wrapping him up in a blanket, Poe had never been so scared in his life. He closed his eyes and hoped for everything to be okay when he opened them, and when he did, he found himself in a cabin at a ranch. He got a bath, a collar and a new name there, and would never be cold again. (word count: 300 exactly)

Name: Desert Harbor's Grave Digger // Zowie
Gender: Female
Prompt: Late one Halloween night, Zowie laid with her family, peacefully sleeping as they began to watch Pet Sematary 2. They loved to watch this movie, they loved it so much that they decided to name their beloved dog after Zowie, who was in the second movie. As they watched the movie, Zowie began to start dreaming.

It was eerily quiet, everything was dark apart from the soft glow that the moon casted down on the cemetery. Without warning, an owl swooped down at Zowie, screeching. The ground quickly became soft. Zowie was now in mud, or so she had hoped. In front of her on the old wooden sign were two words, Pet Semetary. Suddenly the ground began to rumble as growls and grunts rose. The moon lit the yard up intensely, and then she realized what was happening. All around her, various pets began to rise from their graves- eyes glowing red as their mouths foamed. Zowie was in a graveyard for pets, the same graveyard from the movie Pet Sematary.

She tried to turn and run for her life, but the soft ground swallowed her paws before hardening. It wasn't mud, it was some sort of cement! Zowie was stuck, and the pets were all going to feast on her. This was her end, and she was terrified. Zowie began to panic, whining loudly as she struggled to get free. She felt as if she wasn't going to escape and just when the pets were about to pounce on her, everything began to shake again and then her vision went black.

"Wake up, girl!"

She was saved! Zowie jumped up and clung to her family, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. She would never watch a horror film ever again.

Name: Eerie
Name Meaning: A synonym for strange and frightening
Gender: Female
Prompt: Eerie was determined to prove to herself and to everybody what she was worth. The dog slowly dig a little hole and entered into the graveyard. All she had to do was to go into the centre of the cementery, search for the famous Grey's tomb and take a little bone from it. But what happened was unexpected. When she was in front of the grave, she was about to dig when she notice the presence of a figure behind her...
Who was there?! A thin and dark figure, with rotten clothes, staring at her. Eerie jumped surprised, stepping back a bit. The figure went closer, pointing a skeletal finger at her. A creepy, deep voice mumbled something she didn't understand, as she started to run away. A thick fog was confusing her senses, from where she came and where she was running towards? She didn't know. 146
She tried to find a little place between some bushes to hide and wait for dawn. When the sun started to lighten the sky, Eerie was able to come out. No track of the figure, neither of the strong fog. None of her friends noticed anything from outside.
What happened that night, she didn't know.

Name: Midnight
Gender: Male
Prompt: Sarah was made fun of at her new school. The kids told her that if she wanted to fit in, she should do something to prove she was cool. There was a rumour, that if you stood on the grave of the newly deceased, they would reach through the earth & pull you under at the stroke of midnight. If Sarah could make it through the night...she might just be cool. She obliged. With her long flowing dress, Sarah made her way through the grave yard. In hand, she held a butter knife. For protection, and to ease her fears. She found a newly laid plot, right under the largest oak in the middle of the cemetery. There she stood atop...waiting for the clock to chime. Darkness came over the yard, and the cool air brought with it a fog that cast itself across the lawn. It swirled up around her knees. Sarahs breathing became heavy. The quietness of the yard, cut with each of her inward breaths. The hoot of an owl shaking her thoroughly. She began to also sweat, she could feel it trickling down her neck. Then the clock...DING. Her breath became even heavier. DING. Her body shook, she couldnt seem to contain the fear rising up in her throat. Before the last sound could be made Sarah turned to run. But it was to late....DING. She lifted her foot but she could feel it....something latched on to her dress pulling her under... She screamed so loudly it was heard far and wide.
Sarah was later found...dead...from fright. The supposed hand pulling her under... the butter knife she managed to drop in her fear, which landed through the bottom of her dress into the soft earth.
