lovingly nicknamed ‘Bubba’
Gender: female
Lucky Charm: Tibet's owner's grandfather, an avid traveler, purchased this string on one of his many journeys to Tibet and Nepal. Soon after this gift was given, Tibet was born, and her owner decided the bracelet suited the cat-like puppy even better. Every time Tibet glances down she sees the lucky and hopeful flash of red, protecting her from any bad omens that may come her way. While it has no real magic powers, Tibet wears it to remember that even while others think of her as the harbinger of bad luck, she's really just the same as everyone else. For years it will adorn her left wrist, never taken off, until it falls off at just the right moment - a lesson has been learned, and the perceptions of her as a bad luck charm have gone away. She cannot wait for that day - but she'll be sad to lose her string. (150)

Name: SV Stranger than Luck || Dougal
Gender: male
Lucky Charm:
Dougal's lucky charm is a little white elephant tag on his collar - the white elephant is a symbol of luck in Thai culture. Dougal isn't inherently unlucky but he lacks confidence and believes that he is, when he was no more than a year old his human attached the white elephant to his collar as a joke that perhaps it would bring luck to the collie. This idea of a lucky charm instilled confidence in Dougal and he no longer believes he is unlucky
