A 6-pointed star is painted on the floor. On each point is a candle, all of them are lit. A massive assortment of Kit Kats and other chocolates are scattered around the perimeter of the summoning star as an offering to the Hellund.
"Hellund de trans, venire ad me." ("Hellund from beyond, come to me.")
This phrase is chanted, urging the Hellund.
"Ego adducam te oblatio." ("I bring you an offering.")
This is only said once. This is the phrase that is a final effort to reach out to the Hellund.
The flames upon the candles intensify. They begin to turn to a bright blue. The flames burst, temporarily halting sight.
In the middle of the circle is the Flametail Hellund that the summoning star was set up for. The summoning was a success.
The Hellund warily inspects the offerings provided. Seeing the amount of their favorite treat, they knew that the star had been specifically set up for them. Pleased by the devotion put into the star, the Hellund steps away from the star, having chosen their companion.
