She seemed to rebel at every turn, but for some reason she bonded the strongest with Jack at Polar North after he found that the way to gain her trust was simple-- Lots of treats, maintaining eye contact and using a calm voice. After months of working with her, Jack got Crim to calm down and even become somewhat friendly towards the other handlers at the ranch, though she will always be the closest to him. She still isn't completely trusting of everyone, however, and typically gives people the side-eye to let her have her alone time while she grazes, though she absolutely adores other horses and surprisingly-- Dogs. No matter how shy or timid or even downright grumpy a dog or other horse was, Crim always managed to get them out of that shell and was even protective over them. She is now a generally reserved horse and will only let experienced handlers around her, she has her moments of being grumpy- typically in the early mornings, and is more of a night owl type of mare, she is not very vocal in comparison to others of her breed type and species, but will sometimes call out to Jack when she sees him.
