Prompt: Alexandria loves the summer season. Growing up near a beach, she was never one for cold, bitter winter temperatures that made her want to stay inside and be bundled up in a mountain of blankets. She preferred to be outside from dusk to dawn and not worrying about her body going numb from the freezing temps.
Not only does she love the temperatures, but she loves the morale that comes with summer. Everyone going out to the beach or state fairs that come to town, and all the incredible memories people make during those short few months.

She loves how every single one is different from the other, how they look as they stick to the cuffs of her sleeves where she can observe each and every single detail; every criss and cross, every bifurcation and every angle. She adores the way it collects in clumps sometimes as they fall to the earth, too heavy to float peacefully down, but almost purposefully linked to each other. She loves how easy it is to know who and what has been on the path during this time- deer, possibly a raccoon or two. She loves that she can finally see birds nests now that the leaves have all fallen- one there, three over here. She especially loves how the water collects in frozen rivers down the branches, small crystalline works of art that she can see her reflection in.

But most of all, she loves how they seek warmth in the front pocket of their sweater sometimes, their hands touching and grasping for the other. She adores the way they enjoy exhaling to see their breath vaporize and fade away before them, and how they fiddle with the tips of their mittens when flustered. She loves them over all.

Prompt: Despite the rosy flowers that don her flank, she quite loves the season Winter. The snowflakes that drift from the heavens just make the world around her look absolutely magical. It truly makes everything seem as if it’s a Winter Wonderland.

Rosaline remembers her first Winter. It was when she was just a calf, barley able to stay on her own four legs. She woke up, and right outside her makeshift den laid a white powder that enveloped the fields she grazed on. Entranced, Rosaline took a few steps outside, right into freezing, glittering snow. She looked around – it was falling everywhere!

Rosaline lifted a hoof – the snow had melted. Blinking a few times, she stuck out her snout. Right in front of her eyes, a flake of snow fell and melted on her nose. Her head shook and she and giggled. Charging a few feet ahead, she stuck her neck out, along with her tongue. Delicately, a flake fell. It melted on her forehead. She tried again - hopping around the field trying to catch these snowflakes. She caught the attention of many others; she didn’t care.

She hopped forward, tripped, and caught a single flake on her tounge.

bellerose contemplated the question for a second before curtly replying, "i have nothing against her, but she's really rather lazy, and i'd prefer a friend who will go on long walks with me and admire the beauty of the world." laughter flooded her ears and she blushed, unsure of her mistake. "i meant like, the season - leaves changing and all that." as bellerose's ears drooped in embarrassment, she got another chance. "how about summer, bella?" her ears perked up a little at that. "oh, summer, now that's my favorite," she murmured dreamily. after an awkwardly long pause, she realized she'd drifted off into daydream instead of describing. "well, i was born in spring, but i don't have a lot of memories from that early, so all my favorite childhood memories are from the summertime. jumping into puddles to cool off - much to the annoyance of my mellow mother - and basking in the warm sun atop the green grass after a long, peaceful walk. spring is pretty and all, but summer beats it out because of the memories." she flicked her tail happily. Renesmee settled down comfortably in the shelter of the barn, her gentle gaze weeping over the snow bathed landscape. Her breath rose in thick clouds, dancing with the breeze. A soft smile tugged at her lips as Renesmee watched a few stray snowflakes flutter from the grey clouds overhead, merging with the clumps that chilled the earth.

"Nes, what is your fascination with winter?" Hawaii's warm voice cut through the chilly breezes as he settled down beside her, crinkling his nose in disgust as a billow of snow was flung towards his nostrils. Renesmee giggled and relaxed into her friend's warm fur, ear flicking as she gazed out at the mountains.

"Well... I don't know." Renesmee admitted, shuffling her hooves beneath her to get comfortable. "I guess it's a mix, really. It's gorgeous... When the snow is first settled in the early morning, untouched, and the rising sun shimmers off it, it looks so perfect. I think it's cozy."

Renesmee could feel her smile growing. "And then... think about it. Life is hibernating beneath the snow cover, resting for the year. It's like it was exhausted, finally allowed to get a break after working so hard. A long needed break."

Rós is absolutely head over heels for autumn. It is the time of year when everything starts to slow down and settle in for some well-needed rest after a long season of growth and productivity- that is for most folks. For Rós the best part of the season are the harvest and craft festivals where farmers and gardeners show off their produce, canned goods, jams and jellies, and crafty people show off their handmade wares. There is a seemingly endless variety of items to find at these events and she always manages to find something to catch her eye, and of course, she just has to buy it. Her favorites though are the cute Halloween decorations and the baked goods. After all, Halloween is a staple of fall and how can anybody say no to tasty homemade goodies?
