Foaling Grounds

You walk towards a small clearing in the forest, hoping to find some decent grass there. What was that? Your ears perk up as you hear a peculiar sound. There it is again! You recognise it as the high-pitched whinny of a foal playing with its friends. And, sure enough, one races in front of you, not even acknowledging your presence in its carefree bliss.

Breeding Rules and Information

Breeding Rules

◽ Breedings must be natural (mare x stallion).
◽ Do not hint in any way that you do not like the foal that you got. That is disrespectful and quite rude.
◽ You may not breed newborn foals. It takes 1 week for your foals to grow up and become ready to breed.
◽ You must have a storage to breed your ponies, it can be anywhere.
◽ Please keep track of your breeding slots.

Breeding Information

◽ You may commission any breeding artist, however, you must read over their rules.
◽ Foals will come when the artist has time. The exception to this is if the desired artist has not responded or made your foal after 2 weeks. If you are becoming concerned, please send them a polite reminder.
◽ Both mares and stallions may breed up to 12 times.
◽ As stated above, it takes 1 real week for your newborn foal to grow up and become breedable.
◽ There will be opportunities to breed your horses to pre-made foundation horses that are for public use. These public breeding horses will not have maximum breeding slots and will be free to use.
◽ You may breed your horses to other peoples' horses as long as you have permission as well as proof that they are fine with it. This proof could be a simple PM from the other player to the artist.

Breeding Artist Rules

◽ As an artist, you are required to try your best on the the foals that you make, do not make things look sloppy on purpose.
◽ Please do not make your foals have bright/neon colours. Eyes are an exception, you may create any eyes that you feel look appealing with the foal's colouring.
◽ Please be polite if you are refusing to make something that is out of your artistic range. Absolutely no "get outta here, I can't make that." messages. An example of a polite refusal would be something like this: "I unfortunatly feel like that would be out of my comfort range, as I'm currently inexperienced with making [certain patterns/markings]. If I were to create your foal, I feel like it would look unnatural or unappealing. Please consult another artist, [another artist's username] may be a good fit. Thank you!"
◽ Being intentionally rude is forbidden, please mind your manners.

Breeding Artist Information

◽ You are allowed to politely refuse a player's breeding if you feel uncomfortable with making certain markings, but please refer them to somebody that you feel would be able to accomplish the task. An example of how to politely decline a request is shown above.
◽ There is no minimum amount of foals that you have to make in a month, as we want to keep the stress level low. However, please do not keep the player waiting more than 2 weeks. If you have to cancel the breeding, send them a PM and refer them to someone else.
◽ Artists may request payment for making foals and may price breedings however they'd like.
◽ You do not need to know everything about horse genetics, beginner artists are welcome!
