Raiders is a development based game, where members are encouraged to develop their characters through writing and prompts. Experience is earned through completing prompts and creating art and stories for your characters, allowing members to level up and earn spaces to adopt, customize, or earn more cats. It is intended to push members, each level requiring more work than the last.


This is an adoptable cat! You may adopt this cat if you are at level one and have space in your group or adopt it as your founder!

Yoshimitsu stepped from one paw to the other, his tail slithered nervously over the ground. He just couldn’t stay still, not when going out for the first time was so close. His father promised him and his brother, just yesterday that they would go by dawn.
The young tom couldn’t sleep for half the night and now he was awake a little too early waiting for the first beam of light. He was never good at waiting for anything, and it showed. He would like to just wake his brother and dad now, so they could go immediately, but he didn’t want them to get mad and maybe even cancel their trip.
So, he waited and waited until the first streak of sunshine came through their den, and like clockwork, his father started to move.
“Dad! It’s time!” Yoshi’s voice came out louder and higher than he anticipated, but he was too excited to be embarrassed right now. His father just muttered something Yoshi couldn’t make out before standing up. This also finally woke up Yoshi’s brother.
The two young toms almost tripped over themselves and each other, waiting for their father to get ready. Yoshi looked expectantly at his father, becoming more and more jumpy by the minute.
“Well, let’s go.” The low voice of his father was soft when he looked at his sons and turning around making his way out of their home-burrow. Yoshi started to run after him, almost bumping against his leg, and then he saw it.
The bright blue sky over his head for the first time, the soft green grass under his paws, the colorful flowers all around the clearing. Everywhere around him were other burrows, in front of some were cats, sitting and chatting. So many new smells surrounded him. It was overwhelming.
He just stood there for some time, looking around, taking everything in. Being ready to explore each and every last crooner in their home tribe. Wanting to meet all the cats here and learn all the origins of these smells.
He saw a few of the cats that sat in front of their burrows standing up moving towards them, but his attention got carried away when his brother started to run around their father always a little further away from them looking at everything. It hit him like a wave, and he darted after his brother.
He ran and rolled around with him for a while before looking back to his father. The giant tom talked to the other cats that came walking over, looking at him and Yoshi with a soft pure in his throat. His father tried to introduce him to some of the other cats, but Yoshi just couldn’t concentrate.
For the rest of the morning, he and his brother just ran, looked around and sniffed everything they could find. It tired him and his brother quicker then he expected and at some point, he just fell asleep in the grass not far from his burrow.

Wolfthorn sat and watched the setting sun, thinking about everything that has led up to this point in his life. He remembered the first time he saw the outside world, cringing at the thought. He remembered it like it was yesterday.

Wolfthorn woke up early to the sound of his mother and father talking outside the den. He was not sure what they were saying, but he fell back asleep not soon after. He awoke again to the sound of his mother herding his siblings out of the den. He got up quickly to follow her out.

“You left me behind!” He squeaked indignantly as he ran out of the den and right into her paw.

“I did not,“ Wolfthorn’s mother said, “I was going to come back for you.”

Wolfthorn huffed as he sat next to his siblings, waiting impatiently to head away from the den.

His mother went through the rules, but he barely listened because he was so excited. Finally, his mother led the way away from the den and through the forest a short ways to where his father sat with another two cats. Woflthorn did not know them, but was happy to see that they had a kit about his age; and it was a boy to boot! He was getting tired of always playing with his sisters.

Immediately the two boys started to play and roughhouse while Wolfthorn’s sister talked and giggled. None of the kits noticed their fathers leaving, and barely realized when only Wolfthorn’s father came back, blood all over him and limping on his front leg. Wolfthorn just barely heard his father mention dogs before the cacophony of barking started. Their mothers tried to take the kits, but the group could not outrun the pack of vicious animals that followed them.

The adults hid the kits in a bush before turning to try to fight off the dogs. Wolfthorn and Lycanclaw watched as their parents were torn apart. Lycanclaw was the one tha found the prairie dog burrow under the bush, and all the kits would have made it if the dogs had not found them just as his sister was diving into the hole. The dogs dug their way in and were able to pull his sisters out before the two kits escaped. As they ran away, they could hear his sisters screaming behind them.

The two were able to get away safely, but the loss that they bopth suffered was very great. They had both lost their families, and now they were alone and stuck in someplace unfamiliar. Lycanclaw and Wolfthorn stayed together for the next year and a half, before parting ways when Lycanclaw wanted to start his own group of cats.

Woflthorn thought it was a bad idea, at the time. Wolfthorn hated leaving Lycanclaw, and they did not leave on good terms. Wolfthorn was starting to disagree with the slightly maniacal way Lycanclaw was starting to deal with things, and starting to question his sanity.

It was about six months later when Wolfthorn found Lycanclaw again. Now he was calling himself Lycanstar, and he was trying to start a group of cats. He was even more crazy than what Wolfthorn remembered, but Wolfthorn was done wandering alone, and thought he might be able to help his old friend. He joined up with Lycanstar, and was made his second in command. He hoped that his influence would help Lycanstar come to terms with the loss of his family, and that he might be able to save him from the villainous road he was starting to travel down.
