Water Fact: background info: the united states government has set up 'superfund sites' around the us. what a superfund site essentially means is that some sort of man made alteration (typically a company) damaged the environment so badly that the government had to step in.

most of these superfund sites have groundwater contamination, as toxins leech into the soil - so, my 'water fact' is that most people in the united states probably have groundwater contamination near them!
