Why the teeth?: "My what? Oh, my teef? Are fey fat noticeable? I was hoping you couldn't tell!" Lowering her head, Zaeema removed the two large fangs, revealing two gaps where her teeth should have been. When she sheepishly spoke again, her lisp was gone, too. "I lost two of my teeth eating a caramel apple, believe it or not! The dentist was going to make me pay a fortune for fake teeth, so I searched online and ordered the cheapest ones I could find. There wasn't a picture, but they were called 'Large Front Teeth,' which is exactly what I needed! Of course, I didn't notice until too late that I had ordered them from a Halloween supply store... On the positive side, though, I've noticed that everybody has been keeping their distance and not bothering me in public, so I may just keep using them! It takes me half the time to finish a meal, too! Imagine how fast I could eat if I replaced all my teeth..."

"What, you think these are fake? They're real enough to chew you up! I mean, that's what teeth are for. Nobody can be mean to me as long as I've got these! Looking cool is a bonus."
Claire was bullied as a calf. She started wearing fake teeth to try to scare off anybody who would try to hurt her. For the most part, it's worked. However, she feels like getting bullied was partially her fault. If she wasn't so weird then she wouldn't need these teeth. Even though she isn't young and weak anymore she still never takes off her fangs.

Why the teeth?: Karma grew up in a family of boars after she was split from her biological family at birth. For many years she believed herself to be a boar until her adoptive family told her the truth of her past, of what she was and how they had found her lying in an abandoned barn hid snugly under a flipped tractor and debris after a storm had hit the area days ago. The news was devastating to hear, though it probably would be for many who find out they were never related nor the same species of the family they called their own. Karma wears tusks of a boar to maintain that deep connection she has with her adoptive parents, she wears them because deep down though she is a cow she feels that she is truly a boar, as that was the life she has known.
