How does this relate to the Chronling? (250 words max): (Little bit uh- edgy) Edit: I realize this is like a backstory, but it felt necessary lol

Jay was always more of a somber and mellow Chronling. He often chose to count down creatures' deaths, as not many of the Cronlings around him wanted to. Jay never had too hard of a time with this, but it definitely contributed to his somber mood. He was only really close to a few other Chronlings who also counted creatures' deaths. Jay had one Cronling he was closest too, who was like a brother to him. He had never thought about how dangerous their job was, until he got a new subject. It took him a little while to realize that his clock was counting down to his friend's death. This upset him quite a bit, and Jay kept trying to urge his friend to be careful. His friend insisted he was fine, but of course, he still pasted away. After his friend passed away, he became more of an outcast. Jay has found a way to cope with watching over people, and even other Chronlings. He prefers to watch over his subjects alone now, as he finds being alone more calming and comforting. The song talks about two birds (The two Chronlings) and how one tries to fly away, but the other one doesn't want to. (Jay telling his friend to be more careful, but his friend doesn't really listen, eventually lying and saying he will.) The bird is then alone in the song, as the song suggests the other passed away. (Like Jays friend passing away.)
