Luke's hardest learned lesson was one of accepting himself and his heritage. He spent a great deal of his youth desperately trying to find a connection to his identity. He grew up with only vaguely knowledge of his parentage and emulated what he could with what little information he had. He obsessed over them, learning whatever he could even when those around him tried to explain to him that bloodline doesn't matter. When he learned more about his parentage - that his father was a wanted man - he really understood what they'd meant by that. It hurt, finding out his father wasn't someone he really wanted to be associated with, but his found family was there for him to help him process this. Found family is far more important than biological family. That's a lesson he'll never forget.

Lesson: Rebel has always been a daredevil. She would come back to the barn later than she should, swim in the deep river, or walk right alongside the trench. One day, it was sunny. We had no clue where Rebel was so, after 10:00 we decided to go out and look. She normally came back late, but this was unusually late. We first checked the river. Then we went out to the edges of the grazing field, it was outlined with a trench. We split up, I went one way, my sister went the other. I founder her and called my sister. She came racing over. Rebel was laying in the trench when I walked up she got up and tried to get out, she couldn't. It took over an hour to get her out. After that Rebel was still a daredevil, she will never learn.
