Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

he likes them for many reasons, they are pretty, they're tasty, they were among the first flowers he ever sniffed when he was first let out as a foal in the warm spring of his birth and his rider was an adorable young girl who always brought him one from her mother's garden and would sometimes put it in his mane and make him look pretty or just get chased by him when he wanted to eat it instead. There's just so many things he loves about them their delicate petals, their smell, their taste, their colour. All the other foals and even some of the other grown up horses simply turned their noses at the offending flowers and ignored them and this caused them to bloom and grow all over the paddock and in every corner, but Elijah was an oddity, he adored them and got super excited everytime he saw some to run to. He would roll in them and lay in them munching away to the gawking and stares of the other horses who didn't understand his love for the flowers, but they were beautiful and perfect in his eyes and he didn't understand why everyone avoided them.

Even as an adult he will always stop without fail I the second he sees tulips and won't budge or leave until he gets to go over to them and investigate them and possibly eat half of them while he's at it!

They remind him of being treated like another filly, of having magnolias braided through both of their manes and tails by the owners' daughter their yearling birthday as they fell in love under the bright stars of the swamp, and the year of heartbreak as he grew to be sold and she stayed behind, to remain in the stables' program. He eventually found himself in Colorado, far away from his heart and his home, but he still dreams of his magnolias and those familiar baby blue eyes.

Sherlock adores sunflowers, and has since he was a small colt. He feels at peace around them. They're his favorite flowers for many reasons, some being the feeling of their petals. When he was a weanling, he was often made fun of. He never let it get to him, until he was old enough to understand that he was the only one without a mane. When he was upset, he would go to the corner of the paddock and watch the sun set in the sunflower field. Every time he snuck out of the paddock, he would go to the field. It is and was his comfort when he did not have anyone to run to. Now, Sherlock has a few friends, as they had matured since they were colts and fillies. He still loves to watch the sun set in the sunflower field. Every morning, he reaches his head out of the paddock and looks at them, every evening he pulls his head away to sniff them when being led into his stall after paddock time. Not only does he love that they helped him get through rough times, but also their coloring and size. Most flowers at Amber Hollow are just wild flowers or daisies, but the sunflowers are different. Sherlock has a little sunflower design on his stall name plate. Instead of being one of the horses that brings hay into their water, he takes hay to the flowers because he thinks they need to eat. Sherlock is loved at Amber Hollow, and is known as the baby of the barn because of his young and playful personality, although he is not the youngest. Not only has Sherlock taken interest in Sunflowers, but also Sunflower, one of the mares at Amber Hollow. They can be found playing together sometimes. He met her when he was talking to himself about the sunflowers. When he said "Sunflower", she thought he was calling her. Now Sherlock is enjoying his life at Amber Hollow, and is well known around the barn as the maneless horse. He no longer dislikes his mane, and is glad he is diffferent.

There's always a new visitor to investigate around them, and plenty of lovely flowers to enjoy.

Why? it’s probably the most horsy answer ever: they are delicious! they grow in abundance in the pastures (Unless humble isn’t rotated around the pastures often enough hehe) and he loves to eat them! Humble seems to love the colour yellow in general, some of his other favourite foods include banana’s and corn. He also seems to be more motivated when being trained with a yellow saddle pad (that most likely is just a placebo effect of Humbles trainer though... but don’t tell that to her! it’s way to cute to see her all happy when they had a good training session with the yellow pad again <3 ) It can’t be ignored that yellow jumps are much easier for him to jump though! he has never refused a single jump with yellow poles. He sometimes even tries to go back and jump it again instead of going to the next jump. His love for yellow can definitely be a weakness though... one time they used yellow flowers as decoration next to a jump and basically this happened... whoops!
