What is that?
The young calf wondered, nose twitching like a bunny's.
The thing in front of Log was big, chubby, and brown. It had strange buck teeth and kept glaring at Log like she'd offended it somehow.
"What are you?" Log asked, a shy smile gracing her features.
The creature made a small squeaking noise, and then answered. "I am a beaver."
Log's eyes widened.
Four words was all he'd said. But then they started talking.
Log will never forget that beaver, for he gave her a whole new perspective on life.

myra looked at the black and white ball sitting at her hooves.
a bunch of other cows looked at her, waiting for her to kick it.
myra, you can do it. a heifer cheered from where she was watching.
myra looked at the ball, sighing.
whenever she would go to the park, she would always get wrapped up in games.
like the time she and her sister went to go play in the grass and ended up playing football with the guys.
oh my utters, myra! another heifer snorted. just kick the gosh dang ball!
myra huffed.
of course she couldn't not be bothered while just trying to have fun.
leave her alone, georgia! myra's friend snorted at the heifer who had called myra out.
make me, brie. georgia smirked.
myra looked off into the distance, maybe life would be easier if i wasn't here

myra looked at her scratched up hooves as the doctor's clock ticked continually.
it felt like she had been waiting for the doctor for ages.
