Roscoe has always been a rather cheeky hound. When he was but a puppy, he was raised alongside his siblings and their mother in the confines of a household. And yet he'd always find some way of getting into the slightest bit of trouble when there was an opportunity. He was the pup who'd find a way into the bathroom and make a mess of the toilet paper, the pup who'd chew on chair legs and eat bugs, only to get sick from doing so, among many other things. But playing with the TP was always his favorite.
When he grew up, he was trained well and became an obedient and a great asset to his pack, but that glimmer of mischief never left his eyes for a second. This year, he's decided to play a classic prank and use a bunch of toilet paper rolls to cover everything he could in the resting quarters. He knows that most of the young hounds would find it like a game to rip up and shred the streamers of white, while the older hounds might find it more of an inconvenience and try to remove them as cleanly as possible.

Either way, Roscoe knew that it would drive his handlers insane to find a mess of toilet paper here and there in their resting quarters. His master plan was going to play out perfectly, he just knew it.

Maeve, the sweet and adorable Maeve, has always been a good girl, always attentive to the commands of the owner and always ready to respect her duties.
However things are about to change.

In fact, for this April Maeve has decided to make a nice joke to the volunteers of the reserve and to the other dogs, nobody expects anything like this from her!
One night in mid-March she woke up earlier than usual, the sun was still to rise and the sky was pastel colored. She came out of her kennel and reached their enclosure, in the distance some zebras were already grazing blissfully, their cloaks caressed by the fresh wind.
Anyone there, even the birds, knew her as Maeve the good girl but that was enough, it was time to prove that she is rebellious too!

She began to think and think about what she would do, April Fool's Day is a feast that humans are used to celebrate and what better occasion to prank them?

Here is what she would have done, Maeve would have dug a hole so deep and long as to reach the fence of the zebras and would have mixed with them so as not to be recognized by her owner.
To cover her work she started digging at night without anyone seeing her, the zebras knew of her plan but they would never be a spy. During the day, to hide the evidence from the tunnel she was digging with great dedication she threw dry leaves, flowers and twigs on the hole, the other dogs were however too distracted to notice and the humans too busy.

The fateful day arrived, she slipped into the tunnel and closed the hole from the inside, the Hound walked under the ground for a few moments until she finally reached the zebras, she lay down under a tree surrounded by them and remained enjoying the scene.

The owner and the volunteers immediately started looking for her everywhere, she couldn't have run away! The other dogs were confused, they knew her well and didn't know what to think of what had happened.
After almost an hour someone noticed the hole now covered and they realized her plan, when Maeve realized that they had discovered it, she decided to reach her owner and her friends wagging her tail. The owner and the volunteers laughed when they realized that it was in fact April Fools and to celebrate Maeve's "discovery" they brought new bones to each dog and spent a nice day outdoors playing jokes and having fun.

From that day the sweet and peaceful Maeve became the rebellious Maeve and all her dog friends were grateful to her for their new bones!

Yea, that's a sore lie.
Pier is the queen of April Fools, and even her owners know it. Pier will wait impatiently every year for April Fool's day to roll around just so she can play her signature prank on the owners of Sunswept Kennels. Pier also views every holiday as inferior to the only true holiday, April Fool's day.
Oh, Pier's signature prank? Well, I won't spoil all of it, but, hmm... Yea, I will.
Pier rounds up all of the humans into one room, preferably a closet. Now, over the years, Pier has payed close attention to her human's fears. Their phobias. All of this information goes to good use, for her most sinister April Fools prank.
Spiders, snakes, tight spaces, needles, fire - Pier somehow has it all. She uses all her acquired tools to scare the humans. It always works. And you'd think years of working in a dangerous desert would dull down those fears, but nope!
Of course, Pier is merciful, so she lets them out eventually, to the relief of the humans.
Something like this would certainly be punishable, but Pier always puppy-dog-eyes her way out of it.
Now, of course Pier wouldn't leave her humans tortured, so she always delivers them each a fluffy kitten to make up for it, which is always the best part. For the humans, atleast.

this year, terrace plans on acting as a mannequin at the department store in the heart of zikar. he's gonna spray on some temporary white dye into his fur, put on his best clothes, head out there and watch people's reactions. he's gonna sit so still, no one's going to notice him, and when they least expect it, he'll scare them with a loud yell, or he'll approach them slowly and creepily, freezing whenever they gazed his way.

he honestly doesn't know how well his prank might turn out; not a lot of people were going to fall for his little trick, he thinks, but it would be all worth it if he could get one unsuspecting victim or two.
