His handler saw the light in his eyes as he learned new skills and discovered new things he could do with his body, and Caspian was instantly hooked. Everything he does is to further his career, and he puts his entire self into the training sessions. While he does enjoy his friends, nothing could compare to the thrill he gets when competing, and he wants to pass that passion and drive down to the newer dogs and trainees. Caspian wants nothing more than to spread his light and his love, and he does that through leading by example. He wants to be remembered, he wants to be idolized, but he would never tell anyone that- he’s much too humble to assert those bold ideas. (148)

Chrissy's neighbor Karen was a jerk most of the time, she had a papillon called jess; boy did jess hate Arya, Jess frequently escaped Karen's garden. Karen would only notice a few hours later when she remembered she owned a dog; complaint after complaint about how aggressive Arya is, she lay there in the sun with jess at ankle yapping away, not a care in the world; she could stop Jess but she never did, Arya was the picture of calm and collected; Jess? Well she was a raging nut case.

She has tunnel vision and will do her job and see it through until it's complete.
She often pushes herself too far on account of being a perfectionist, and when she
does make a mistake, no matter how minor, she falls into a loop of self-blame and will work
even harder to 'set things right' in her mind. Though Maze is selfless, she spends quite a bit of
time thinking about herself and how she can change and improve.
With that in mind, Mazikeen is also the most trustworthy on the farm. You'll never see her
straying from her herds or a task to frolic through the pastures or wrestle with the baby goats.

Edi knows that if she waits patiently and well enough, there may even be some scraps of human food as a reward in her dish later! Sometimes you're born with patience, and sometimes you have to be like Edi and learn this valuable skill.
