Lion name: Farrow
Lion gender: Male
Pride: Oakali PridePride status: Lead warrior
Story: It was a soft night, as the stars touched the weakening sun. Farrow's pride played under the bright stars, as Farrow stretched out ready to announce. Farrow shook off his mane, as he stepped onto the giant rock. His chest puffed out wide, standing tall.
``Today we will form an
alliance with my brother, Fallen, and his pride, the Assasins," Fallen sneered a bit, but sat down. Fallen's scar along his eye shone, with a mix of an entertained grin.
``We will work alongside the Assasins,``
``Brother,`` Fallen said with such a charming, manipulative voice. ``It is nice to see we came to.. an agreement,`` he purred.
``Indeed,`` Farrow sneered, sensing his smug look off his face. Farrow quickly padded away. Farrow's eyelids came heavy.
With the night fully fresh, the lions sat down to get some rest as the night allowed easy sleep.
The grass slowly turned, "crunch, crunch, crunch,'' it whispered.
Suddenly, something pounced. It dug its claws into Farrow, slashing him across the face. Farrow yowled, his claws pulsing as he hit the intruder in the face. The intruder soon lept on him again, aiming for Farrow's underbelly. Farrow let out a menacing snarl as he lept up, and got a hit.
Caught off guard, the intruder pounced on Farrow. The pride leaped to action.
Farrow was heavily wounded as the intruder started to step back with the pride, cornering him.
Farrow tried to breathe, the googly liquid leaking out of his wounds.
A slight chuckle came from the intruder, as the light of the moon allowed his face to be shown.
Fallen.
Farrow stood up, his muscles shaking, and his whole body too.
``Fallen... How could you,``
Fallen let out a laugh, his manipulative grin showing under the light.
He had been betrayed.
The
betrayal stung his heart and his pulsing body.
As sunrise came, the pride cast Fallen out. They chased him out. But all Fallen did was break out in laughter and behold satisfied sneers.
Moons passed ever since this incident. Farrow's wounds healed a bit. The pride was happy, lions mewing at each other, while the cubs pranced around.
Suddenly, without warning, a screech erupted in the air. Farrow bounded to the territory from where the endless screams were.
Hyenas.
Out of the pile of hyenas, he saw familiar markings.
Fallen.
Farrow lept to action, easily ripped off the hyenas in the pile, as he hit a major artery into the lead hyenas back, they fled as fast as they could.
He was shocked as he stared down at his brother. He was nothing like the muscled, charismatic lion he once knew.
He looked starved, weak, wounded.
``Why did you save me?`` Fallen sneered, his ears down, his tail between legs.
Fallen was scared.
``It's simple, you are my brother,`` Farrow said as he held his head high.
``I beg for your
forgiveness,`` Fallen whimpered.
Farrow headbutted the side of his head with open paws, feeling the warmth and safety his brother held.
