Caleb's favorite season is fall. Why ? Because that's the season he had got his puppy and it's the season of the annual Fall Faire, the only connection Caleb had with his friends and step-sister. Caleb's puppy, Kady, was a very special puppy, not only because she was Caleb's first, but because she was Caleb's only() puppy. Caleb loves pets but he'd only ever been able to get one dog since his father is allergic. Keeping a dog around was quite a hustle for Caleb too. Caleb and Kady grew together, side by side, best friends forever. But Caleb's other friends ? He couldn't see them much at all. Caleb had moved away to a new town which mean't he had to leave the home he had grown up in. The town where all his childhood friends and family lived. Every year Caleb made it his duty to be present at that fair no matter what. If expenses got too high his family or friends would cover part of it. His step-sister was the closest thing Caleb had to family next to Kady. Caleb and his childhood friends were a very closely knit bunch and nothing could break their bond or the depth of their friendship and it would take years for any new friends to reach the level of friendship Caleb had with this childhood friends, and even by then he and his childhood friends would be closer. Caleb would give anything for his friends and step-sister, his step-sister was basically his mother, at least, when his mother wasn't being his mom. The Fall Faire isn't just a fair to Caleb, he gets to take a break from his life and let loose for a couple days. He loves to admire the scenery, all the warm colors of fall, all the leaves falling, the cool breeze, how excited everyone is to jump in the leaf piles. Fall gives Caleb joy that he can't enjoy any other season because it makes him feel so happy and whole, seeing his friends and step-sister again. The scenery brings back his most best and favorite memories, hence why it's his favorite season.
