One day when Eclipse was taking a nice walk. he noticed a backpack laying next to a tent, some logs, and a rock. He grabbed the bag, and started to tear it up. Inside the bag, he found a box of cheez-its and a bag of goldfish crackers. He sniffed them. It was like a whole new world to him! He never smelt anything like it before. He tore the box of cheez-its open, and ate one. This was better than any of the meats he has tried! There was a mix of flavors. It was salty, and crunchy, and had a taste that was addicting. He ended up eating all of it.
Wow. best meal of his life! He had to get more..

and so, his quest to get more cheese crackers began..

is the tastiest treat you’ll ever eat!

Its texture? Mmmh, like chewing on that shiny cloth those humans wear… but fluffy!
Imagine catching a mouse that’s really fluffy, but you don’t have to spit out the fur
because that’s the best part of it!
Its taste? Silly, you gotta try it yourself, hahah!
But in case you happen to not find any, then… well, it tastes like… how do I put it…
like the rain during a summer storm, I think. It’s hard to describe it, but it is really,
REALLY good, I swear!

And my favorite kinds are those round, ball-looking ones, those moss-balls. They are
the best; you just pop one into your mouth like a walnut or hazelnut, they’re a snack
that you’ll never get bored of.

Leilani, being a decently sized fae, isn't as physically restricted as other species or even younger fae when it comes to diet. Unfortunately, though, she is extremely picky; with an intense natural sweet tooth and a disdain for anything to do with hunting or bloodshed, Leilani opted to follow a more vegan lifestyle, like her human partner. Her partner carefully monitors her nutrition levels and always makes sure Lei is getting what she needs out of her food. Her favorite food, though? Flower. In particular, she loves the sweet nectar in many of Rioshax's natural wildflowers, but often chews the petals and leaves afterwards for extra satisfaction and nutrition. Her stomach acid has become much stronger in anticipation of potentially toxic flowers, and through the vegetables and leafy greens that she already eats. Every so often, when she's grazing straight from the bush, Lei will mistakenly cronch on a bee, and it might sting her tongue or her mouth as she chews. She has a natural immunity to their venom, so there's no swelling or pain other than a brief, sharp poke, to which she often jokes that "that flower was a little spicy".
