Background:
Sylvano's life isn't the easiest of lives. This young scraqal has been seen as a scraqal of bad omens, a bringer of bad luck in his ktehta simply because of a rare gift he has: the manipulation of shadows and darkness.
Of course, being born into a tribe that has a deep connection to the Ancestors' spirits and is in connection with the Old Ones, the ghosts seen as guides and advisors, it was obvious they won't easily accept such "evil" in their ktehta.

Not only is he haunted by visions and the voices of the Old Ones, he even has to deal with being constantly antagonized by his own ktehta just because he has the elemental ability of darkness and shadows.
