Chetapal Destrals Winter Event

Event Information

The land of the Chetapal Destrals is harsh all year round, but Winter is especially so. Food becomes more scarce than before, and snow piles up to their bellies or even deeper. Some Destrals choose to wait it out in the relative comfort of their own homes (where they have hopefully stored up food for the winter), while others choose to roam the land looking for their meals on the go. No matter their preference though, most Destrals tend to look forward to the break from the searing heat of Summer, at least at the start of the cold season. Even the most cold-loving individuals will start to look forward to the warmth by the end of the long, cold Winter.

During this event, join us as we see how the herds of Chetapal take advantage of the cold season. Maybe you will find a new Destral to join your herd, or to start a herd of their own.

As the first hard snowfall finishes settling onto the hard, frozen ground, a herd of strange Destrals descends from the mountains and walks among those herds in the badlands. Some of them stay there, while others continue into the forest. Where did these strange creatures come from, and what are they doing here?

Event Bank

During the course of the event, you may accumulate event tokens and/or items, which will be stored here until the end of the event. At that point, any remaining tokens and items will be moved to the normal bank. Event tokens that are not spent during this event will be saved until the next one. Event tokens cannot be spent if no event is happening.

Head Adornment Alteration

You may redesign them completely, only remembering gender requirements.

This item allows you to add a single marking to your Destral,
even increasing their rarity in the process.

This item allows you to add a single base modifier to your Destral,
even increasing their rarity in the process. You may use this to add
the second gene to make them double positive (eg, making a single
cream palomino into a double cream cremello) or simply use it to add
a single positive gene (eg palomino or dun)

Snow!
Add some snow to your Destral. Whether a light dusting or a heavy pile,
this magical snow will not melt come the warm season. You may describe the
amount of snow you prefer to the artist when you use your item.

Add some sprigs of holly leaves and berries to your Destral. You may describe the amount
(within reason) and placement of the item to the artist when you use it.
