'Diaval's favorite is a Vitality Ritual. He often takes his supplies and goes out to his peaceful clearing in the middle of Whispering Woods.' Diaval shook out his scruffy grey coat and entered the dark woods, inhaling deeply as the warm smells of summer and pine wove around him and filled his lungs. Following the worn path, the demon quickly found himself in a moon-bathed clearing, The soft grass bleached silver in the light, the woods now took on an eerily peaceful silence as he entered the ring. The canine began setting out his three green candles in front of him, the largest in the center. Diaval sat back on his haunches and adjusted his horns. Though these were just a costume, he felt strangely empowered when he wore them to his rituals. He scattered his dried rosemary
and set his favorite crystal, a rose-quartz, in front of him. He lit his candles one at a time and relaxed, reminiscing on all that has gone both terribly wrong and what has worked to his favor. Diaval wrote down his dreams and goals on a sheet of paper, and after saying his thanks to the trees and the moon for accompanying him, he held his folded paper over the middle candle. As it burned, he smiled softly to himself, imagining the smoke rising to the sky and entering the universe. Diaval scatted the ashes around the clearing, where they would once again become the earth. He returned to his candles and exhaled, extinguishing the flames before settling down again to let his mind clear. As the moon dimmed, the blue-eyed canine decided it was time to head home and left the forest, feeling rejuvenated and at peace with his life.
