Another set of strangers in the palace. They look royal enough but something seems off. Leuna argues they are with her and she is training them to be her apprentices. A hollow faced peasant tries to follow the princess claiming to be a lover but before Luena can say anything about it, the peasant is gone.
These two children, barely babes in her arms stare lovingly up at their mother, obvious to the chaos in the palace.

Top - Elisa
Very book-smart and a shining pupil that makes the palace wonder were she came from. Very graceful and dainty and basically the perfect example of a princess.

Bottom - Isaac
Some think he’s the strong and mysterious type, rather he’s just paranoid and secretive. He realized Leuna was his mother from a very young age and whist keeping it a secret from his sister, he tries to solve the mystery of his parentage.

Elisa rises to be a popular girl in the palace, anyone and everyone clambering to serve her and shout praises for her poise and intelligence. Meanwhile, Isaac uses his shadowed position, overlooked with Elise there, to find clues. He discovers the legend of the ghosts in the woods that were making families disappear from the lower villages. Leuna spoke strangely of the place when mentioned so he searched further into the legends. There was rumored to be three, a pyromaniac demon who burnt every home they saw, a mute murderer who would pick random victims, and a depressed wisp that followed the destruction, hopelessly trying to control it. With very little evidence and silence from his mother, he followed the small lead and ventures into the forest.

He journeyed for several days and his paranoia rose as he began to see a shadowy figure following him at night. It stalked him quietly and he suspected it is the mute murderer, choosing him as it’s next victim. His anxiety overwhelmed him and he called out the ghost, terrified and expecting death. But it never came. The stalking figure approached to stop a few feet from him, staring him down in awe and bewilderment.
A small raspy voice, evidently someone who didn’t use their voice, spoke with shaky words while outstretching their hands.
“M-my prince, my ch-child.” Isaac froze as he gazed at the small stranger. It was like looking into a distorted broken mirror. He could see familiar features from both himself and his sister within this person as the pieces clicked.
“You- you’re my —“
“Y-yes” they answered, drawing closer, arms still outstretched. “Oh my dear child”
He stood stiffly as the small stranger wrapped thin arms around him, lightly holding him. “Oh my dearest.”
