Activity: Miss Calloway’s favorite activity is to take a trip with her dear old farmer into town and look at hats.
Every week, the farmer will go into town to buy groceries and maybe a lil something for herself. She often lets Miss Calloway tag along with her just for fun! When the farmer and Miss Calloway get into the town, the farmer ties Miss Calloway’s rope on a post in front of the hat store. Miss Calloway stares into the window and looks about the store, gazing at all the beautiful hats. They have big hats, small hats, round hats, square hats, any hat she could think and dream of, it was there.
There’s this one hat in particular that Miss Calloway has laid her eyes on. It was a small purple hat with a blue ribbon and white flower. It looked exactly like her current hat, except it was cleaner and it better shape. Miss Calloway has set her heart and soul into the hat, she longs for it. Even if she does not get the hat, Miss Calloway will still enjoy looking into the hat shop in town.
